I will resist my urges to make pithy comments about "Christmas going to the dogs" (drat! i just did anyway!), here is Mina (our Dachshund, who, in the mind of at least ONE member of our family, serves no useful purpose to justify her existence) chewing on her newly prized Christmas present: a black rubberized chew toy.
